One of my favorite hiking trails in and around Nanaimo, BC is this one located within the Morrell Nature Sanctuary. Rocky Knoll Trail has an offshoot trail that brings you to a summit with not an extreme effort. Reward is a beautiful view of Mt. Benson to the west.
